Ingredients for 4
- Cheese
- 150 g aged Comte
- 150 g Cornish Camembert

- Oatcakes
- 100 g oats , for oatcakes
- 50 g wholemeal flour

- 4 fresh figs , quartered
- 2 tbsp honeycomb , to serve
- Fig relish
- 60 ml port , for the relish

Method
- Make the oatcakes: mix the oats, flour and a pinch of salt, stir in the melted butter and enough hot water to bind, then roll thin, cut into rounds and bake at 180C for 18 to 20 minutes until crisp.
- Make the relish: simmer the dried figs with the port and a splash of water for 10 minutes until syrupy and jammy, then cool.
- Remove all the cheeses from the fridge an hour before serving to come to room temperature.
- Arrange the three cheeses with space between them on a large board.
